Often displayed on a single TV screen in a large empty room, pulse is a piece that questions the idea of planned construction and planned destruction – and the range of historical events that these ideas apply to. The image of a hospital being imploded was manipulated and mirrored to mimic a beating heart. As a result the audio of a heart pulsing envelops the room whilst personifying the image on the screen.
